Quality control is continuously monitoring the quality of products through the inspection of incoming
raw material, in-process, testing. as well as the inspection and qualification
of finished products. Such measures include chemical analysis as well as
physical and mechanical properties testing.

3- Research & Development (R&D) 

Research and development are carried out by the (R&D) laboratories to keep
up to date with new developments in the different sectors of the industry

   4- Quality Assurance (QA)

IPI maintains integrated management system, quality management system, occupational health and safety management system.

Quality assurance is at the heart of our manufacturing program, and has long been the seal of IPI.

Rigorous measures are in place at every stage of production to ensure the highest performance and reliability in all of our products.

As well, an application laboratory for plastics is available where actual test
work is performed utilizing the following equipments:

• Pilot blow molding machine
• Pilot extruders

• Pilot film blowing machine

The company produces two types:

(1) Urea formaldehyde resins which are used in different industries such as manufacturing of particleboard or chipboard industries by the hot pressing process

The types produced in our company are:

• UF 80
• UF 60
• UF 50

The urea formaldehyde resins produced in our company are characterized by:

• White liquid materials
• Ease of handling
• High bonding efficiency

(2) Phenol formaldehyde resins are the most important adhesive Substances, where they are utilized in the following industries:

• Plywood applications
• Glasswool and rockwool industries
• Shell sand casting applications.

The types produced in our company are:

• PF 300
• PF 310 Resol
• Novolac (85% in IPA)

The phenol formaldehyde resins produced in our company are characterized by:

• Liquid materials
• High bonding strength
• High resistance to humidity
• High resistance to heat

The annual production capacity of this plant is approximately 300 MT of organic peroxides which are intended for use as catalysts in chemical reactions.

Organic peroxides are used in many different chemical industries such as:

• Catalysis and activation of polymer reactions.
• Fabrication of unsaturated polyester resin products.
• Fabrication and solidification of vinyl esters.

The types produced in our company are:

• MEK – Peroxide with different concentrations
• MIBK – Peroxide
• Special peroxides which are used for the high-temperature cure of non-promoted unsaturated polyester resins.

The company has earned good reputation in this field where its products are characterized by:

• High activity at normal or high temperature, with lower addition levels than the competitive peroxides
• Diversity of standard and special peroxides.
• Ease of handling.

The annual production capacity of this plant is approximately 3000 MT of different types of polyester resins.

Unsaturated polyester resins are used in many industries such as:

• Fiberglass reinforced plastics such as tanks, pipes, toys, etc.
• Synthetic marble
• Cars and boats
• Putties
• Wood laminates and furniture coating
• Electrical applications
• UV resistant articles

IPI also offers special additives necessary for these applications including:

Unsaturated polyester resins produced in our company are characterized by:

Plasticizers are used in flexible PVC compounds industries such as:

• Phthalate esters (DOP, DBP, DINP, DIDP)

Plasticizers of our company are characterized by:

The annual production capacity of this plant is approximately 3500 MT of color masterbatches and plastic additives.

Color masterbatches are suited for (PE, PP).

These Masterbatches are characterized by high color strength and high dispersion.

The plant also produces white and black Masterbatches, PE Compounds fillers and PP compounds fillers at different concentrations.

Masterbatches and fillers are used by many different applications such as:

• Injection molding
• Blow molding
• Film extrusion
