The annual production capacity of this plant is approximately
3000 MT of different types of polyester resins.
Unsaturated polyester resins are used in many industries such as:
- Fiberglass reinforced plastics such as tanks, pipes, toys, etc.
- Synthetic marble
- Cars and boats
- Putties
- Wood laminates and furniture coating
- Electrical applications
- UV resistant articles
- Flame retarded articles
IPI also offers special additives necessary for these applications including:
- color concentrates,
- release agents
- peroxides and accelerators
Different types of resins are produced in our company such as:
- Orthophthalic resins
- Isophthalic resins (chemical resistant)
- HET resins (flame resistant)
- UV stabilized resins
Unsaturated polyester resins produced in our company are characterized by:
- Liquid resins at normal temperature
- Ease of fiberglass impregnation and mixing
with other materials - Good reactivity
- Perfect dryness for the surface and the mass
